Cluden Cricket Club is searching for a Junior Coordinator to lead our Juniors in Season 2024-2025.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities and Duties
Adhere to the vision and values of the Club
Growing Club Junior Numbers
Managing Woolworths Cricket Blast Program
Assisting with weekly training sessions
Establish links with local Primary/Secondary Schools and working closely with Cricket Victoria and running clinics for new participants
Interact effectively with Players, Parents, Team Coaches/Team Managers
Assist in the appointment of Team Coaches and Team Managers
Ensure all players are being catered for, regardless of level of experience or ability
Attend Association meetings/information events when required
Attend Club Committee meetings and provide an update on junior cricket activity
Prepare a report for the Club Newsletter and Yearbook when required
Knowledge and Skills Required
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Passion for the game
Trustworthy, responsible and reliable
Ability to respond to queries in a prompt manner
Ability to interact with club officials, players and the wider public
Experience and/or knowledge of the cricket programs
Good written and verbal communication skills
Level 1 Coaching and a Working with Children Certificate would be needed for this role. The Club would support the successful applicant in obtaining these if required.
